Getting Punchy

Scrapbookers are ALWAYS on the lookout for embellishments!  We also know the frustration of wanting to find that perfect something but being unable to do so.  What better way to solve this problem than by creating exactly what you need.  With a variety of punches you can do just that.

I designed a Punch Art class that is being offered this month at Ramona’s store.  Participants get to make a dozen different punch art embellishments to use on cards or for scrapbooking.   This class will be offered seasonally and will feature punch art appropriate for the season.

One of the really wonderful things about punch art is that it is realtively inexpensive.  Most stampers and scrapbookers already have punches and this is a great way to make use of all those scraps we accumulate.

After we had made the bee in the first class I taught, one of the participants, Mary, commented that she and her husband have a boat named The Turtle Bee.  Well that got my creativity going and I designed this imaginative little creature for her.

I haven’t looked recently, but I don’t recall seeing a “turtle bee” at any of the craft stores near me, yet think how cute this little guy is going to look on one of Mary’s pages!
