Caving for the Cricut

Well actually, I haven’t caved yet, but I’m weakening!

This past weekend, my friend Betsy, who is a CTMH consultant, had an open house and featured CTMH’s new Cricut cartridge.  I was blown away by all it could do!  She had a couple of make and takes and her daughter, Alyssa, who is also a CTMH consultant, made adorable miniature Chinese food take out containers for favors.

I also have to give a shout out to her other daughter, Krissy, who made some fabulous gourmet cupcakes.  They were works of art which comes as no surprise as Krissy is an artist in her own right.  And they tasted as wonderful as they looked.

Now back to the new Cricut cartridge…

I was amazed at all the things it could do!  The catalog excerpt doesn’t do it justice.  You really need to look at the booklet that comes with it to get an appreciation of all the shapes and templates.  While the price of the machine may seem daunting, one look at the booklet and the true value of the system becomes evident.  It made me to start rethinking the long list of Nestabilities on my wish list.

Shhhhh!  Don’t tell my hubby!

But then again, he did just get a new lawn tractor.  A girl’s gotta have her tools too!
